Day 1 Arrive in Cairo (See flight info on cost page)
Transfer to the Salma Hotel in downtown Cairo. This is a perfectly acceptable 2 star Hotel with bar, restaurant and roof top terrace. The rooms are basic but are en suite with air-conditioning (that actually works!!).

Evening at Leisure. After a buffet dinner relax on the roof top terrace getting to know everyone.
Day 2 Sightseeing. Visit to the Cairo Museum then onto Khan el-Khalili, the world famous Cairo Bazaar. Time to change money and experience the vibrant “chaos” of downtown Cairo.
Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. A truly wonderful experience telling the history of the Pyramids using lights and dramatic music. Traditional Egyptian Restaurant Dinner
Day 3 Visit to Mukattam, the Cave Church and Motomadaya.
First we walk through the garbage village of Mukattam, seeing Mother Theresa’s Orphanage, before ascending to the Cave Church. Return to our hotel to prepare to visit Motomadaya Garbage village and the wonderful St Georges Church to meet the 700 to 800 children and experience their love of the Lord.

Dinner at one of Cairo's most unique restaurants - Fefellas in the vibrant downtown district.
Day 4 Depart for Retreat. We drive for about 3 hours through the desert, under the famous Suez Canal to the Egyptian Resort of Ras Sudr on the Red Sea and our hotel “Health Beach Resort”. This is a 2 star resort with all en suite rooms again basic but comfortable. Welcome meeting then the afternoon to relax. After dinner there will be a retreat programme introduction and prayer time.

Day 9 Pyramids by Day Spectacular visit to the Pyramids, view them from the desert and up close.Visit to a local perfume factory to see how all the high street famous perfumes are actually made and buy the raw materials to make your own before returning to our hotel
18:30 Evening Nile Dinner Cruise We take a majestic Dinner Cruise along the Nile for a 2 hour spectacular view of Cairo by night. Includes food and entertainment (drinks payable on- board)
Day 10 Return to UK Morning free to prepare for your return flight to UK.
